March 24, 2014

Happy spring everyone! haha it wasn't too much of a change for us down here in Tucson.. we are now in the high 70's low 80's.
ok, Weekly rundown..

Tuesday: We visited a less-active member who shared her entire life story with us for a solid hour and a half. haha she said we are a huge blessing to her and she loves missionaries but she doesn't believe the Book of Mormon to be true anymore. Tuesdaynight, we were supposed to have exchanges, but the other elders didnt get home until like 1030... So that didnt happen.

Thursday: We had zone conference from 8 am to 430 pm.. it was draining, but good. it was needed.

Saturday: We were just busy making the rounds, inviting people to come to church. and now every Saturday night we play Rugby with investigators under the lights! It's way fun. I'm going to move to Australia to be on e the national team. haha just kidding. sorry this email is so plain and short. this week just wasn't supper exciting. I'd like to leave you with a spiritual thought:)

"Now, my brethren and sisters, the time has come for us to stand a little taller, to lift our eyes and stretch our minds to a greater comprehension and understanding of the grand millennial mission of this The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This is a season to be strong. It is a time to move forward without hesitation, knowing well the meaning, the breadth, and the importance of our mission. It is a time to do what is right regardless of the consequences that might follow. It is a time to be found keeping the commandments. It is a season to reach out with kindness and love to those in distress and to those who are wandering in darkness and pain. It is a time to be considerate and good, decent and courteous toward one another in all of our relationships. In other words, to become more Christlike. We have nothing to fear. God is at the helm."- President Hinckley. Keep up the work! We are all in this battle together! As long as we band together, nothing can stop us! now... GET OUT THERE AND SAVE THE WORLD! Kia Kaha, Forever Strong. I love you all! Until next time. love, Elder Taylor Alston
